Chase is a 23 year old, super strong CrossFit athlete that continually places in the Top 100 in the CrossFit Open.
On top of his dedicated training schedule, he is currently completing his final year of both his Law and Commerce degrees.
Chase began his athletic journeyby taking part in every sport his junior school had to offer and made the first
teams in swimming, cross country, squash and rock climbing. He represented his state in both Judo and Swimming.
In high school, although he continued to swim and Water Polo became his main sport, with him achieving Captaincy of the First Water Polo teams in Year 11 and 12. He also played Victorian State League 1 Water Polo.
Chase initially commenced gym training with his older brother in order to improve his Water Polo skills.
Chase is known for his determination and resilience, and his love of competition. He aspires to compete in the 2016 CrossFit Regionals together with his training partners, Kyle Frankenfeld, his brother and friend William
Laister. He trains because it is an addiction which he loves and cannot livewithout. He competes because it drives him to push past what he believes he is capable of, and because it is always a good place to push his personal bests.
Whilst studying in Canberra, he qualified as a personal trainer and started training at CrossFit 2600.
Chase holds a 112kg Snatch, 140kg Clean and Jerk, 200kg Back Squat and 240kg Deadlift.
